"B" check validity as applied to the CF188 HORNET shall be 8 hours.


When the requirement for a quick turnaround exists an "AB" check may be carried out in lieu of an "A" check and "B" check. An "AB" may be carried out on the CF188 HORNET if the aircraft is on the ground 8 hours or less between landing and the next take-off.


For Operational Readiness Standby aircraft, the "B" check and "AB" check validity period shall remain valid until one of the following takes place, excluding weapon uploading and downloading:

a.

maintenance action is performed; or

 

b.

the Daily Inspection expires.
