North America has a wide variety of landforms, bodies of water, and climates. Much of the U.S is covered in the Great Plains, while the west has higher elevations. North America is home to some of the largest rivers in the World, while the Great Lakes contain much of Earth’s freshwater. Lastly, because of the size of North America the climates range from extremely cold to hot and dry.
