Started out as a summer cottage in Southern Maine and was built high upon "breezy knoll" in 1906 as a 10 room hospital. First patients treated were diagnosed for typhoid fever, epilepsy, rheumatism, and delirium, appendectomies, fracture, care, carcinoma, endometriosis and hysterectomy. Today, there are locations in York, Berwick, Kittery, Long Sands, North Berwick, South Berwick, and Wells.
