What is National Residence Hall Month?

NRHM is a month-long celebration of campus residence life and a time for our residents and student leaders to recognize all the moving parts within Housing. This year’s themes are meant to embody the on-campus experience and each separate theme will be celebrated in different weeks throughout November.

We highly encourage you to talk with your student leaders within Housing about their own experiences and what they hope to get out of their time here. This discussion may lead to event ideas throughout the month or valuable discussion/recognition during your meetings with them.

In the past, Area Governments have done “Thank You” posters and had residents sign them to give to Building Services, hosted a card making event for residents’ RAs, or even wrote OTMs (Of the Months) about their fellow student leaders within Housing.
