What are Registered Nurses.
Nursing is most often ranked as the most trusted profession.
The most trusted profession in the U.S. (Saad, 2021), nurses are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that balances professionalism and care. Often held to very high standards by those in their care, nurses strive to meet and exceed expectations.
Yet, as humans, nurses also have times when they make mistakes. And while mistakes in healthcare can be deadly, most are not. The key to moving past errors is taking accountability for what happened and working within the system to prevent similar errors from happening in the future.
