Patient was started on 20mg po Lasix 2x daily for CHF.  Placed on alert charting for 72 hours starting tomorrow morning when first dose is scheduled to be give.  Family notified of new medication and in agreeable with the plan of care.  Orders sent down to pharmacy.  Care plan and Kardex updated from frequent rounding and VS daily.
