Who is the patient with new onset confusion?
A post op patient becomes restless, respirations 28, oxygen sats of 89% RA, with new anxiety.
What is apply oxgyen?
You should see a rise in these labs when a patient is dehydrated.
What is an increase in BUN, Cr, Hematocrit, Sodium, Urine specific gravity?
Patient complains of being lightheaded after 2 days of dark tarry stools.
What is GI bleed?
Patient with liver failure and INR 5.0 (0.8-1.1)
What is bleeding/hemorrhage?
One patient has a potassium 3.1 with muscle cramps, one has a potassium of 6.0 with no symptoms, another has a sodium level of 133 with a mild headache and last one has glucose 180.
Who is the patient with potassium of 6.0?
A patient with a blood glucose of 48 is awake but shaky, meal tray hasn't arrived.

What is an increase in AST, ALT, bilirubin, INR, ammonia and decrease in albumin

Patient with dehydration and Sodium of 152 (135-145)
An end stage COPD patient sating 89% on 3L, a post op patient who is complaining of shortness of breath is restless, a CHF patient with +3BLE edema, a dialysis patient with hemoglobin of 8.
Who is the post op patient?
A patient reports sudden chest pain rating 9/10 with diaphoresis and nausea, BP 140/82, HR 106, resp 20, 94 RA
What is EKG?
What lab do you monitor on a patient on coumadin.
What is INR?
Patient complains of feeling like their "heart is racing" and dizziness. Irregular heart sounds noted
What is AFib?
Patient presents with acute kidney injury and potassium of 6.2 (3.5-5.2).
What is cardiac arrhythmias (can lead to cardiac death)?
One patient with a GI bleed has BP 90/60, HR 110, another has a fever of 101.5 with UTI symptoms, one is post of day 3 with incision redness, and one has a stable fracture.
Who is the patient with GI bleed and hypotension?

What is stopping the transfusion?
Someone is septic with an increase in these labs.
What is WBC, procalcitonin, Lactate, and Cr?
Patient is confused, with high ammonia and history of liver disease.
What is Hepatic Encephalopathy?
Patient diagnosed with sepsis and has a lactate 5 (0.5-1.8)
What is septic shock-organ failure?
A patient has DKA with glucose 450 and is alert, one had a stroke 6 hours ago, another one with sepsis has a lactate of 4.5 and BP 88/50 after fluids, and one with CHF with crackles and sats 93% 2 liters NC

Your patient is complaining of weakness with a potassium of 6.4
