Having a varied diet is also important, such as various fruits and vegetables, various meats and animal products and various grains and legumes. Choosing healthy, whole foods more often than processed, unhealthy foods is a balanced diet. That doesn't mean you do not ever enjoy processed foods- all in moderation!
