Carter was wasting time in class. The teacher assigned him make-up time. Instead of getting upset about it, he fixed his behaviors, had a solid end of class, and apologized to the teacher during make-up time.

Tim couldn't figure out some of the math problems he got assigned for homework. The next day, he came in to school early and worked in his math classroom so he could get help with any problems he didn't understand.
