Part 3 is worth the most- 70% of the independent project.

In writing papers, you must cite all sources (1) directly quoted, (2) paraphrased, or (3) consulted in any fashion. 

Sources include all printed material as well as the Internet.

Each quiz is only 0.4%, but cumulatively they are worth ~11% of the final grade.

One assignment will require students to travel off campus! Which assignment is this?

The Ocean Hall Treasure Hunt at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum.  

Students will be given a free class period on the Monday before Thanksgiving to help off-set the travel time to and from the museum.  However, this assignment can be completed at any time before the last day of classes.
