No, the patient can be medically treated as an urgent care patient.

If a urine drug screen and breath alcohol test are both requested, which one should be completed first?
The breath alcohol test because the alcohol leaves the donor's body faster than drugs in urine.
What is an example of a fatal flaw?
Missing collection printed name AND signature.
Insufficient quantity of urine sent.
Pre-printed specimen ID number and label seals do not match.
Specimen bottle label/seal is missing.
No CCF sent with specimen.
No specimen sent.
Two separate collections are performed with 1 CCF.
What is the DER?
Designated Employer Representative

The DER also receives test results and other communications for the employer, consistent with the requirements of this part.
If a patient has a positive TB Skin test, what is our next step?
We call the employer to alert them of the positive test, and let them know that our next process is to complete the Quantiferon Gold blood draw. We perform the blood draw to determine if the patient had a true exposure.

Manually document on the form - document machine information, and result. Must have 3 decimals.
