No - A CPS background check is only required for the employees of employers who are under the age of 18. Transitioning Youth can apply to employers who are ages 14 through 21.

Yes - As of the 10/6 updated SDS Manual EMT certifications are now able to be accepted in lieu of a standard CPR and First Aid certification.

Maybe - If the paperwork indicates that there are two co-guardians who are required to sign paperwork then both need to sign on behalf of the participant. If it is not indicated that both need to sign, then one may sign or the other but both would not need to sign.

What is the difference between a CJIS background and a Paycom background?
A CJIS background check is for Maryland only while Paycom is national. In addition, we will need to run an OIG background check as well if accepting a CJIS background check.
