What would be considered a justified absence?
Most reasons if you let megan know!
Especially if student is sick, out of the community, or cultural activities?
What is Lexia?
Lexia is a reading program, students will use every day to improve reading skills.
What is happening tomorrow?
A PED day! Students do not have school!
What to do if you or your child will be absent from school?
call the school or email/message megan!
Can Lexia be used at home?
Yes! if there is an ipad or phone at home. Pick up your student's login sheet!
When are progress reports handed out?
September 25th
Can I or my child bring chips, pop, gum or candy?
No, snacks like that are not allowed in school unless it is a special day.
When is homework handed out and due?
Monday and Friday
What is happening on September 28th?
Attestation day! Students will be doing fun activities all day learning about Orange Shirt Day.
What are some extra-curriculars my child can join?
Floor Hockey - Monday after school (Has started!)
Soccer - Tuesday after school
Running Club - Lunch at Thursdays
What do I need to do if I think my child might need to see counselling, Nurture, or Special Education?
Come see Megan! These programs are meant for students that need extra help in academics, and social emotional needs!
What is happening September 30th?
Truth and Reconciliation day, No school!
