This is the number of sentences that are in each body paragraph.

When you state the opposing claim and prove it wrong.
What is a rebuttal?
This includes a hook, a topic with 3 main ideas, and a thesis
What is an informative introduction?
Words that connect my writing to make it flow. (ideas to ideas, paragraphs to paragraphs, sentences to sentences)
What are transition words and phrases?
This is what I do to the first sentence of each new paragraph.
What is indent?
This explains the argument, states a claim, and previews the key details.
What is an introduction for an argumentative essay?
I use this to tell why my fact is important or to explain what my fact means.
What is explanation or elaboration?
Someone's view of an issue that is based on personal experience or emotion not fact.
What is an opinion?
This is how many sentences my conclusion should be, at least.

I restate this in every paragraph

This connects my conclusion back to the thesis or topic sentence in the introduction.

Cite evidence by giving the title of the text or the name of the author.
