This sacred covenant can be eternal only when authorized priesthood holders perform the sealing ordinance in sacred temples and when husbands and wives who have been sealed together keep the covenants they have made.
What is marriage/eternal marriage?
Healing of the sick, Patriarchal Blessing, Naming and Blessing of Child, Priesthood Blessing, etc. are examples of this kind of ordinances.

Neither side is more important. Ordinances and covenants are inseparable, just as the two sides of a coin are inseparable. Ordinances and covenants are necessary for admission into God’s presence, just as coins are sometimes needed for admission to events.
In the sacrament prayers, how many promises do we make?
