What are meeting slips?

Meeting slips are the “Judges baby” and also a legal document – do not give your meeting slip to someone else to take your meeting slip to get signed (forgery).Do not sign yourself

What is a negative contract?

What is a SYA card? And why are they important?

An appointment card. They are important so that you and the staff member you are scheduling with have the same times and if they write it wrong you have a safety net.

What is dress code for court?

  • Men – slacks, button down shirt and a tie. Shirt must be tucked in.

NO hats, flip flops, tennis shoes.

  • Women – slacks or skirt to knees, blouse and appropriate shoes.

NO tank tops, flip flops, tennis shoes, stilettos, or leggings. No visible bra straps. Must have midriff and shoulders covered. No cleavage showing.  


NO JEANS OR SHORTS IN COURT!! You may be asked to leave court to change and report back before session ends.

what is kind of clothes are clients not allowed to wear at the program?

  • Gang colors, logos, attire

  • Frayed cut off shorts or pants

  • Short shorts or short skirts

  • Pajamas or “house shoes”

  • Un-buttoned shirts

  • Suggestive or provocative clothing (if in doubt, ask)

  • Bandannas

  • Hats / sunglasses in building

  • T-shirts with inappropriate logos

  • Hanging or “sagging” pants

  • Bare feet - Untied shoes

  • Excessively tight clothes

  • Women must have midriff and shoulders covered. No cleavage. 

  • No leggings in court and no pants that look like leggings in court.
