How can this student receive the grant knowing that he can't cash out the grant from the post office due to his age?

The woman needs to provide valid identification that she is his mother.

The woman will be put as an alternative on the system in order for her to cash out the grant.

Communicate with the refugee to know the type of assistance that they need.

Ask if they have approached any other organizations before and if they already received asstiance. 

Clarify CRS services and determine whether they need a referral or not.

Any changes in the office space should be with the your supervisor who will communicate with the admin team.

Check the filing room for school papers last year

Communicate with the verification team if there was a mistake from last year

Communicate with the applicant to make sure of the grade and that next year will be the last year for the grant

What should we do in this case?

This is not a UASC case because they live with their parents. 

Students should provide a valid identification document for their parents.

A refugee approaches the office to submit documents for the education grant and starts arguing over not receiving the exam fees from the post office. 

What will you do in this situation?

Communicate with the applicant that you are not the staff member responsible for the exam fees. 

The exam fees had certain criteria and not all applicants received the grant. 

If the applicant continued arguing , you can report their complaint through commcare or the applicant can write their complaint in the box.

You woke up feeling sick with a cold but no fever. 

What should you do?


If you are feeling sick, communicate with your supervisor to take the day off. 

If you feel sick the next couple of days, you need to provide a medical report.

Do not approach the office if you are feeling sick. Even if you do not have a fever.
