This color line lets you know that the householder has not yet been contacted.

You've met with your service group, and you are in a breakout room with your service partners. You open your territories, and this is the button you push when you are ready to start preaching!

What is the Work It button?

You are working a contact, and notice you have already attempted to contact the householder multiple times with no results, and you got a letter returned to you from that address. These are the two websites we use to find the most recent/updated contact information for a householder.

This color line lets you know that the householder has been contacted, but not spoken to (not at home). You should try calling them again!

The button you push when you want to share your territory with your field service partners.

What is the "Share It" button?

You are with your service group and made a phone call. It was a great call! You open up the contact's information and want to briefly describe what happened on the call, the date you spoke, the scriptures you left, and maybe even your plans to return. This is the section of the contact page where you will record this information.
