What should you do if you are struggling to complete an assignment, even though you are trying your very best?
Ask for help!
Always have your sound off. Keep it in your backpack! Phone use is prohibited in school buildings.
What should you be doing if the teacher is working with a small group?
Working on you assignment and following directions on the board.
Where should you hand in classwork?
In whatever bin Mrs. Warren has written on the board for it to be turned into.
How should you treat classroom materials that are not yours?
Always with RESPECT!
What should you do first thing in the morning once you arrive?
Unpack and follow directions on the board.
What should you do if you have a question when the teacher is doing small groups?
Ask 3 before the teacher. If you can't find the answer, respectfully come to the teacher and ask.
What can you do during a brain break?
Talk with classmates, draw or doodle, read a book, responsible movement around the room. Remember Brain Breaks are not recess.
What are your choices if you finish classwork early?
Always check the DONE area on the board to see your options. Reading a book is ALWAYS an option.
What should you do if you feel like you are going to be sick in the classroom?
How should you act during the BOOM?
Voices off, eyes front, pencils down.
What will the teacher do if he/she needs you to get quiet?

When and how should you access the classroom library?
Anytime you are finished with your work. Enter silently, pick a book and read it!
How do bathroom breaks work?
Do not use during whole group. No bathroom use within 20 minutes after lunch or recess.

What happens during an emergency drill?
Voices are immediatley silent and you are listening for directions.
Explain what transitions should look like.
Transistion should be quick and quiet. It should take less than one minute to transition.
What happens if you don’t follow the school or classroom rules?
Redirect, redirect, buddy classroom, phone call home, office.
What is Mrs. Warren's favorite food?

What should you do if you have a conflict with another student?
Attempt to work it out on your own. If that doesn't work, ask an adult for help.
What should you do with work that you haven’t finished?
Put it in your binder under unfinished work to complete later.
How should you handle yourself if someone knocks on the door or the teacher gets a phone call?
Phone call: voices go immediatley to 0
Someone comes in: continue working unless the teacher has you pause.
What is our one class rule?
If what you are doing interferes with learning, hurts someone, or prevents you from being your best self, you need to make a better choice.
Why do we ALL need to follow expectations in class?
It makes our classroom a safe and fun learning environment for everyone.
How should you act during specialist?
Following all expectations set by the specialist teacher.
