In the cupboard in the hallway by the bathrooms.
What do you do if you have a question or need help?
Put up your hand and wait patiently.
Am I allowed fidgets/toys at my desk?
No. Toys and fidgets are distracting.
However, some students need fidgets to help them learn and will have special permission from me to use them.
Can I have any Personal Electronic Devices at school?
It is better they are left at home but they can be brought to school.
What is my favourite candy?
Any type of chocolate!

How should you behave when walking outside for recess?
Walking
SILENT (other classrooms are still working and learning)
Holding the ball. No passing or bouncing inside.
What should you do if you need help but I’m busy?
Ask 3 friends first.
Skip the question and keep working until I’m able to come help.
When is a good time to go to the bathroom or fill my water bottle?
At recess or during work time. Not when I am teaching or giving instructions.
Where do I put my electronic devices when I come into the classroom?
They will be put on airplane mode and then Miss Ulrich will take them and put them in a secure location.

How do we come in from recess?
I will meet you in the boot room.
Walking.
Silent. (Other classes are still learning)
Straight into the classroom and undress there. I will call by groups to go to your lockers.
Will you have lots of homework?
Nope!
The only time you will have homework is when you have not used your class time wisely and need to finish it at home.
We will have a home reading challenge but that should be your only homework.
How many people can go to the bathroom at once?
One boy
One girl
One water station
Take the timer, flip it and put it on your desk so we know you are gone. That is also how long you have to be out of the classroom.
Can I have tech at lunch?
Only if it is a tech day during lunchroom and it must be put away at 12:20.
What is my favourite animal?
Sea Turtles!
Are you allowed to bring toys from home to play with at recess?
Yes, only if your parents know and are okay with it. All toys stay in your backpack and you are responsible for them. Keep in mind things are more likely to get broken or lost at school.
What do you need to do before you hand something in?
I have 3 highlighters by the hand-in. You will need to highlight your name before it gets handed in.
Green: That was easy peasy!
Yellow: It was a bit challenging but with some help I was able to do it.
Red: I found this really hard and will need some extra help from my teacher.
What is my biggest pet peeve?
I do not like it when others are talking and I am teaching.
Can I have tech at recess or waiting for the bus?
No. They only time you are allowed to have tech is at lunch. It cannot come out at all for any reason outside of lunch.
