Be Respectful
This is something we do when we want to share an idea or ask a question. It is respectful because it allows everyone to have a turn being heard.

What is organized?
This is when we are facing forward, not talking, going quietly to our next destination.
What is walking in the halls?
These are things we need to be able to learn. They are important to have organized. A good learner gets them out quickly when asked.
What are learning materials?
When I have a question or idea I want to share I do this...
What is raise my hand?
This is when we are talking to our seatmate during instruction. When we do this we distract our seatmates and sometimes even the whole class. It is very hard for our seatmate to listen to what is being said because they are paying attention to us instead.
What is side chatter?
I should have a routine each night for getting this done. This is something that helps me get extra practice on skills I need.
What is homework?
This should never be done in the classroom because it can lead to accidents and is very disruptive.
What is running or rough play?
We do this so that we don't miss directions or important information. We show we are doing this by keeping our eyes on the speaker, staying in our seat, and not talking or playing with toys
What is staying focused?
If I need to go to the bathroom I do this?
What is Cross my fingers?
These are noises we make that distract the class, teacher and ourselves.
What are sound effects?
When we do this we are able to hear all the directions, be ready to learn, and have everything we need to be successful.

This should something that should never be thrown in the classroom.
What is ANYTHING but paper or Hedgie and sometimes Teacher Candy?
Learners know to do the easy ones first and come back for the harder ones.

These are things we say about someone or something in the classroom. They are usually not very nice and although sometimes we say them as a joke they are usually taken in a very bad way. They do not make others feel very good and are very disrespectful.
What are negative comments?
This is what we call materials when they are being used to help us learn. They can be pencils, books, fidgets, rulers, etc.
What are learning tools?
All four of these should be kept on the ground at all times or you might end up with a bad injury.
What is chair legs?
This is something that can get in the way of a learner doing their best. It can train our brain to think we can't do something and shouldn't even try.
What is negative talk?
When the teacher needs the class to quiet down and pay attention she will say this.
What is Fast Five?
This is when someone gets what they need to succeed. Sometimes it seems unfair because it might not be equal.
What is equity?

This is something you should always be careful on. Take turns, watch your step, and never push.
What is the playground?
This is the ability to work hard and never give up. To keep trying even when something seems hard. To learn from our mistakes and keep pushing forward. Every good learner must learn to have this.
What is Perserverance?
What the teacher says if she wants you to pay attention during a computer activity. You will partially close your computer and turn your focus to her.
