This is when we are talking to our seatmate during instruction. When we do this we distract our seatmates and sometimes even the whole class.  It is very hard for our seatmate to listen to what is being said because they are paying attention to us instead.

We do this so that we don't miss directions or important information.  We show we are doing this by keeping our eyes on the speaker, staying in our seat, and not talking or playing with toys

These are things we say about someone or something in the classroom. They are usually not very nice and although sometimes we say them as a joke they are usually taken in a very bad way.  They do not make others feel very good and are very disrespectful.

This is what we call materials when they are being used to help us learn.  They can be pencils, books, fidgets, rulers, etc.

This is something that can get in the way of a learner doing their best.  It can train our brain to think we can't do something and shouldn't even try.

This is something you should always be careful on.  Take turns, watch your step, and never push.

This is the ability to work hard and never give up.  To keep trying even when something seems hard.  To learn from our mistakes and keep pushing forward.  Every good learner must learn to have this.
