Perennials & Sunbrella

Perennials was designed by Ann Sutherland, Fabrics are the gold standard in outdoor textiles. Woven of the company’s trademarked 100% solution-dyed acrylic, they blend high performance, rich texture and a soft, natural hand. Offering exceptional longevity, the fabrics resist stains, mildew, and fading even after years of sun exposure.

Sunbrella® is a fabric that stands up to whatever nature—or people—can dish out. Our rugged Sunbrella® resists fading even in blazing sun, deters mildew in the moistest of settings, wipes clean with a damp cloth, and air dries quickly.

What are performance rugs?

Hand-knotted by master artisans, the effect beautifully recreates the look and feel of wool, yet our high-performance rugs are made of finely spun PET yarns that resist stains, spills and moisture. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including dining areas, and are easy to clean and care for.

How often should teak be cleaned?

Teak furniture is an excellent choice for outdoor living and, if properly maintained, will last a lifetime. While teak is virtually impervious to the elements, promising years of loyal service, it does require some maintenance.

Twice a year, use dry clean cloth to dust weekly.

To clean off debris, spray with hose and wipe dry (always). A power washer may also be used to clean the surface (1200PSI).

For tougher stains, clean with a warm water and mild dishwashing-soap solution. Gently scrub the wood with a soft-bristle brush in the direction of the grain. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a soft, clean cloth, making sure all surface water is removed to avoid damage and mildew.

What is all-weather wicker?

All-weather wicker (resin) mimics the look of natural wicker but is made of a synthetic material, generally polyethylene, which requires minimal maintenance and is extremely durable. The synthetic polyethylene resin fibers are durable and resistant against the sun's UV rays, humidity, and water.

What's the benefit of the indoor/outdoor rug pad?

Our Indoor/Outdoor Rug Pad provides comfort underfoot and a foundation for area rugs. Thick, open weave construction creates additional loft that reduces rug moisture through increased air circulation. For use on all moisture prone indoor/outdoor surfaces where a rug pad is recommended such as tile, stone, concrete, hardwood, laminate and linoleum.

Metal Care

If exposed to harsh sunlight or to the elements, all-weather wicker will fade over time. To prolong its life, we recommend protecting our outdoor furniture with custom-fit outdoor furniture covers when not in use.

Explain the benefits and features of metal

Aluminum is solid and strong - it won’t be disturbed by wind or rainstorms yet is still light enough to be easily moved. Aluminum won’t rust when exposed to the elements.

Hand welded -This process is the strongest way to join two pieces of metal. It makes the joints strong and the furniture durable.

Powder Coating - The finish is “baked on” to coat metal and to make it rust resistant. This also adds a UV protector, so the furniture withstands heat and damage that can be caused by the sun and exposure to the elements.

What should you do with our cushions when they get wet?

Flip cushions on their sides when wet to help drainage. To protect furniture and cushions year-round, use our custom- t covers when furniture is not in use. For more thorough cleaning, a power washer with a pressure of 1200PSI is effective.

Although RH cushions are mildew resistant, spores that create mold and mildew thrive in environments with dirt and moisture. To deter the mold and mildew, keep dirt brushed off cushion and remove wet cushions from frames.

How to care for outdoor rugs?

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Avoid exposure to heavy rain or standing water. - Clean the rug monthly with a solution of mild dish soap and water, scrubbing with a soft nylon brush. Make sure to clean both sides of the rug. - Dry in sunlight. Hang the rug or lay it out in the sun, then ip it over to make sure both sides dry thoroughly. - If placed outside, store the rug in winter months when not in use and during inclement weather. Roll up the rug with the front side out and place it indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area. - To preserve the life of the rug, we recommend using our indoor/outdoor rug pad.

How do you clean and care for concrete?

-Use non-abrasive cleaners (Method® All Purpose Cleaning Spray)

-Citrus based cleansers are NOT recommended when cleaning the concrete table top due to their highly acidic agents that can potentially damage this natural material. (Acetone, denatured alcohol)

- not use heavy abrasive, bleach-based or ammoniated cleansers, can wear down sealer

-For added maintenance and protection, simply apply Trewax® Clear Paste Wax (e.g. carnauba

wax) every 2 - 5 months.

How to care for Perennials

Perennials® cushion covers may be spot cleaned with mild, natural soap and thoroughly rinsed with lukewarm water.

For stain removal, use a diluted solution of one part chlorine bleach to two parts water. Allow fabric to air dry.

Professional cleaning is recommended for tough, persistent stains.
