Yes! Scientists call those conditions "the goldilocks zone," because those planets are close enough to a star to be warm and not frozen, but not so close that they're burning hot. The first confirmed goldilocks zone planet was found in 2014

Our sun is actually not nearly as bright as most other stars - but the other stars are so far away that we see less of their light
