In the Pacific Northwest the First Nations out numbered the Europeans. The perspective of the Métis would be to live in a small comuntiy, to send their kids to school however they would make sure to teach their kids their culture. The First Nations and Métis were very culutal groups. They would dance and do spirutal things. They would teach their kids how to hunt and fish. This is what the perspecitve would be like for a Métis and First Nation's people.
