This parable accentuates the farmer always at work scattering seed and the heart that is open to God would produce a divine amount of fruit.

The parable of the friend at midnight was like a friend who needed three loaves of bread, so he persisted to knock on his neighbor's door until he opened the door to give it to him.

This parable was coupled with the verses, "ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened."  God answers prayer and desires for us to pray with persistence.

There was a man who owed the equivalent of 200,000 year's worth of wages.  He couldn't pay it back so the master was compassionate and forgave his debt.  But that same man went out and sought out guy who owed about 100 days of wages and even though the second man asked for forgiveness, none was given, so the master went back and punished the first man because of his unwillingness to forgive.


This parable accentuates how much God forgives us and how He wants us to forgive others.

This parable accentuated how much love the woman shared because of how much she was forgiven.  It means a lot to me because I have been forgiven much and I never want to take that for granted.
