We grow and learn with many people in this world, some good and some bad.  Sometimes, we can’t tell which is which.  When Jesus Christ comes, God and Christ will judge and separate the true followers of Christ from the people that just appear to be followers of Christ.

Out of all the seeds, why do you think Jesus Christ chose a mustard seed for this parable?

One possible answer: Because it is the least of seeds and becomes the greatest of herbs.  God believes in great potential.  He can take something so small and with his help, it can become the greatest of all seeds, the greatest of all testimonies, the greatest Church on the Earth.

What does the bread being leavened represent to you?  The bread rising?

The Kingdom of Heaven rising, the Church of Jesus Christ growing to become perfect, the followers of Christ lifting and rising others from the ground up.

How is a pearl created?

When an irritant or trash comes into a clam’s soft shell, they create layers upon layers of smooth covering to take away it’s irritating qualities, creating a beautiful pearl.

Grows immediately then when trials come, the root is scorched.

How can you be a true follower of Christ, instead of just someone who appears to be a follower of Christ?

I can pray sincerely and do service for my love for God and not to be seen as a good person.  I can really search, pray and ponder about what Christ wants me to do because I love Him.  When I search the scriptures, I can ask myself what is Jesus Christ doing that I can do as well?

One possible answer: Once your faith or once the Church becomes so great, you are able to support other people with your testimony or through the Church.  They are other people that we are able to help, that take refuge in Jesus Christ’s gospel and love.
