Who to Whom: “How is it that you, a householder, are placing your hands on the head of a sadhu?”

Who: One Haribhakt To whom: Bhagatji Maharaj When once, as per Bhagatji’s agna, Yagnapurushdasji addressed the assembly about the qualities and glory of a Satpurush. Bhagatji became extremely pleased with him and placed his palms on the head of Yagnapurushdasji to bless him. At that time a stunned devotee remarked, “How is it that you, a householder, are placing your hands on the head of a sadhu?”

What is the jiva like?

Jiva is one that knows little, is as small as an atom, is luminous and animate and permeates all over the body.

Who to Whom: “Now I don’t want to listen to anything except your consent to my plans of living in the forests.”

Who: Shriji Maharaj, Whom: Brahmanand Swami and Surakhachar  When: Shriji Maharaj had become disinterested and sad. He had stopped taking food and water. Brahmanand Swami and Sura Khachar tried to provoke laughter but nothing was working on Maharaj. That is when Maharaj tells them this.

On the full moon day, Nityanand Swami, while addressing the assembly, said, “With great efforts Mulji Brahmachari has had this mandir whitewashed. In future, perhaps this mandir will have golden spires and a golden throne for God, but a sadhu like this Gunatitanand Swami and celibate like this Mulji Brahmachari will not be available.”

"Shriji Maharaj answered in detail about bhakti to Bhaichandbhai."

Bhaichandbhai asked four questions on bhakti. Bhaichandbhai was worthy of offering such devotion to Maharaj. Even great scholars, if they are not worthy of God’s bliss, cannot comprehend and understand the answers to these questions. Shriji Maharaj, with a desire to explain this most difficult path of bhakti to the congregation, answered in detail all the four questions raised by Bhaichandbhai and immersed the devotees in such devotion.

Raghav Bhakta gave consent to Jaga Bhakta to renounce the world.

After the cobra episode, Jaga Bhakta’s wife and parent’s reverence towards him increased. His wife thought I am an obstacle in the path of Jaga bhakta so she gave him consent to renounce the world. Seeing this, his father, Raghav Bhakta revealed, “Once Gopalanand Swami had indirectly told me, ‘Your son will liberate innumerable souls. You are a great devotee of God. If you want to renounce, please happily go to Junagadh.”

Who: Pragji Bhakt To Whom: Pavitranand Swami When Pragji Bhakta was discoursing to thousands of devotees during the festival, near Pavitranand Swami’s aasan. Upon hearing Pragi’s discourse about how Gunatitanad was Akshar, Pavitranand Swami became very angry. Yet Bhagatji remained steadfast and said to him, “There is no alternative except to understand Gunatitanand Swami as the manifestation of Akshar.” That angered him even more and he said to Bhagatji that he will have him excommunicated from the Satsang. It was then that Pragji Bhakta responded with a smile, “Swami, now even if Shriji Maharaj wishes He cannot excommunicate me. Iron transformed by a paras into gold cannot be converted back into iron even by a paras.
