What is tuberculosis?

Tuberculosis s a contagious infectious disease caused by the bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis. It primarily affects the lungs but can also spread to other parts of the body, such as the kidneys, spine, and brain, and spreads through airborne droplets.

Symptoms: Persistent cough, fever and night sweats, unintentional weight loss, fatigue, coughing up blood
