The Climax
This is a conflict between two characters.
Man vs. Man
The people or animals in a story.
Characters
When and where the story takes place.
Setting
The person who wrote the story.
Author
This is the end of the story where all of the problems are resolved.
Resolution
This is a type of conflict that takes place inside a characters mind.
Man vs. Self
The main character of a story. Typically the "Hero".
Protagonist
A sequence of events that make up a story.
Plot
The person who drew the pictures in a story.
Illustrator
This is when the story takes a turn and things start calming down. All loose end are tied up.
Falling Action
This is a type of conflict where the main character is fighting weather, animals or climate change.
Man vs. Nature
The person trying to stop the main character and get in their way. Typically the "Villian."
Antagonist
The meaning or message that you learn from a story.
Theme
In this type of story, the reader is transformed into the story and is part of the story.
2nd Person Point of View
This is a series of events that takes place during most of the story.
Rising Action
A type of conflict where an individual or a group of people have to fight with their community.
Man vs. Society
A character that does not change throughout the story.
Static Character
A problem in a story.
Conflict
In this type of story, the narrator exists outside the events of the story.
3rd Person Point of View
This is in the beginning of the story. This is where we learn about the characters and setting.
Exposition
This is a type of conflict where a character is fighting against a prediction or fortune from God.
Man vs. Fate
A character who goes through a major change (whether for good or bad) throughout the story.
