What is "Student Advocates for Climate Awareness"?
The housing policy, in effect from the 1930s to 1968, that was a racially discriminatory system of maps to advise banks where to give loans and allowed Black and Brown neighborhoods were explicitly discriminated against; these predominantly low-income areas are significantly underinvested in, resulting in a lack of green space and higher urban temperatures than surrounding communities.
