What is the definition of patience?
Waiting for the right time, not when we feel like it.

God turned the bad water pure by placing a certain wood in it for them to drink.
For food God brought them Quail and he gave them Manna bread to eat.
How did David show his patience in the story we looked at?
He did not kill Saul in the cave when he had the chance but cut off a piece of his clothes.

Zach wanted to eat the plums before they were ripe and suffered a major stomach ache because he eat all of them.

What was the insect that we looked at that had a transformation that took patience?
Why was it so important to be patient?
Caterpillar to butterfly.
If the caterpillar did not wait for the transformation its wings would not develop and it could not fly.
Who in your life do you need to be patient with?

Is waiting passive?
Passive means that you do not do anything in the mean time.
Waiting is active, meaning while waiting we are still taking care of our responsibilities.

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
