You walk quietly on the right side of the hallway, going directly to and from the bathroom, locker or nurses’ office without looking into classrooms or disturbing activities in the building.

  • Walk quietly to the table.
  • If the seat you would like is not available, find a seat at the table that is available and sit there.

  • “Sign- in” to use the bathroom in the designated log book

  • Walk into the first available stall, close the door, and lock it.
  • When you are done; flush the toilet, unlock the door, and walk to the sink.
  • Wash your hands using one squirt of soap and water.
  • Dry your hands with one or two paper towels.
  • Throw the paper towels in the garbage cans
  • Walk out of the bathroom and go directly back to your class/assigned area.

  • Clean up the paper on your desk and under your area.
  • Help clean up the space around your area.
  • Follow class procedures for throwing away trash.

You should line up and use the hallway/stairwell expectations.  Follow your teacher to the exit.  Follow the fire drill procedures.  When allowed back into the school, return to your classroom using the hallway/stairwell expectations.  At all times use a silent voice.

  • You just got your lunch and as you are walking back to the table, you spill some of your food on the floor.  You should:
  • Bring your tray back to your seat.
  • Find a cafeteria monitor and tell them you spilled food.
  • Help to pick up the spilled food and clean the area on the floor.
  • Go back to the serving area and tell the cashier you spilled food.
  • Walk back safely to your seat.

  • Leave the locked stall alone
  • Go to an unlocked stall and use the bathroom as usual
