By walking.

Keep your hands and body to youself. Use equipment safely and appropriately. If someone gets hurt, ask if they are okay and get help if needed.

You arrive to school before 8:10am, where should you wait? 

Wait behind the gate along the fire lane. When the bell rings, WALK down the firelane to the blacktop.

Walk, keep your hands, body, and germs to yourself, and use materials appropriately.

Flush, wash your hands, throw away your paper towels in the trashcan, and keep the bathroom clean!

Use your words to talk through the problem. If you need help, find a yard duty to help.

Stay behind the gate until the dismissal bell rings. WALK up the stairs. Wait for the crossing guard to help you cross the street. Stay safely on the sidewalk.

Listen respectfull. Follow directions even if they might be different from what you are used to. Use respectful manners and kind words. Offer to help if the substitute teacher has questions. Follow the same expectations that your teacher normally would expect.

To be sure you don't disturb other classes.

WALK safely the entire time. Use polite manners when picking up your lunch by saying "please" and "thank you".

How can you follow the Dolphin WAY when waiting for your car in the auto circle during dismissal? 

Sit patiently behind the white line. Watch for your car and listen for your name to be called. Walk safely to your car and wait for your car to stop before getting in.

Listen to everyone's ideas. Include everyone. Use kind words. Work together. Stay with your group. Ask for help if needed. Resolve conflicts together.

Let an adult know about the mess.

Gather your belongings, wait to be dismissed, throw away ALL trash at and underneath your table, and walk to the blacktop.

Walk safely to the MUR. If you have an umbrella, close it before going inside. Find your grade level and have a seat. Wait for your grade level to be dismissed directly to your classroom.

Treat your chromebook carefully by carrying it safely with two hands. Keep your password, login information, and personal information private. Follow the Acceptable Use Policy by only accessing approved websites. Use your Chromebook only as your teacher has instructed. Let an adult know if you need any help.

If it's close to 8:25, walk directly to your classroom through the hallway. If it's after 8:30, check in at the office for a tardy slip.
