These clients are provided a time limited and abbreviated amount of services, including resume critiques and job search assistance, and must schedule an appointment to meet with a counselor.
What are Alumni?

• This person manages incoming communication, schedules alumni or student appointments, and plays a large role in the coordination and management of career events
Who is the office associate?

• An event that now takes place once a year and allows students to network with on average between 30-50 employer interested in recruiting students for internships and job openings.
What is the Career Expo?

• This feature informs students about upcoming events and workshops, and may also give them the option of RSVPing for an event or workshop.

Students interested in receiving resume/cover letter assistance or general support regarding internships, the job search process or obtaining career information are referred to these.

• This person provides career counseling, conducts outreach, provides support with career event planning and coordination, maintains the center’s website, manages the PHIN Connect resume approval process, and provides supervision to the PCAs.
Who is the Career Counselor?

• An event put on in coordination with Academic Advising that takes place in the fall and provides students an opportunity to mingle and speak with professors, staff and upperclassmen representing a variety of JU majors and degree programs.

• This automatically and regularly updates students regarding job and internships opportunities.

Employers to organizations are referred to this when they express interest in advertising job or internships opportunities to JU students and/or alumni.

• This person provides drop-in support to students by welcoming students and orienting them to the center, providing resume/cover letter critiques, introducing center resources, and providing referrals to career counseling.
Who is the PCA?

• A service that allows students to practice interviewing with a CDC staff member or employer partner.

• Students are allowed to upload these, which require staff approval before they can be used in the PHIN Connect.
