Leigh Press
This type of curtain wall is the most common, and is shipped in pieces to the site for field fabrication and assembly.
Stick-Built
Beneficial in applications with high wind or stack pressures, this entrance type has controlled openings or closings to eliminate the struggle associated with operating a heavy manual door.
Automatic Doors

Sub framing / sub girts
Commonly seen in both commercial and residential applications, this glass type involves two or more lites of glass separated by sealed airspace to reduce heat and noise transmission.
Insulating Glass Unit (IGU)
With its proximity to the airpark, it’s likely that this street, home to PCC’s office, is named after a famous aviator known as “Lucky Lindy”.
Lindbergh Drive
Sometimes called a “Beauty Cap”, this component is designed to conceal the pressure bars and mounting fasteners from view.
Face Cap/Cover
Commonly used for retail and commercial buildings, this type of storefront entrance is thermally broken for improved performance with a large variety of hardware, glazing, and finish options.
Aluminum-Framed
Frequently used as a lightweight and durable cladding option, this panel type is composed of two aluminum layers bonded to a polyethylene core.
Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)
Sometimes referred to as ordinary, raw, or unenhanced, this glass type is made by slowly cooling float glass at a specific rate to make it less brittle, and when broken, fractures into large, jagged pieces.
Annealed

Press Construction Components
This curtain wall component is used to connect two or more framing members together to increase the length.
Splice Sleeve
Unlike its “lazy” brother, this door contains the locking hardware and is used most often.
Active Door
This cladding component with a “drip-edge” is often attached at the base of a system or at openings to direct water away from the main structure.
Flashing
Typically used to create specific framing members, this type of aluminum forming involves the process of heating the metal and forcing it through a “die” to form the shape of the desired part.
Extrusion
Also running a successful Mexican catering business on the side, this team member puts the “pan” in panels as one of PCC’s senior superintendents.
Diego Guzman
Unlike traditional framing systems with continuous support along the glass edges, this glazing method results in an assembly of units that are supported at fixed points by hardware.
Point-Supported Glazing
Opposite the lock stile, this full-length vertical member makes up the edge of the door and fastens to its frame with pivots or hinges.
Hinge Stile
Acting as the primary preventer of water and air infiltration, this is one of the first products that needs to be applied to the surface of the building before starting installation of the cladding or panel system.
Air Vapor Barrier (AVB) / Waterproofing
Environmentally friendly and abrasion resistant, this finish type is applied using a dry spray process with electrostatically charged pigment and resin.
Powder-Coated
