I work with your primary care provider as part of the team to come up with the best treatment plan for you. With your provider I can start, stop, and adjust your medications based off of labs and monitoring.
I am an Information Systems Analyst. I manage data, logistics, and provide critical technical support and expertise. How long did I have to go to school?
High School Diploma and either a Bachelor’s degree or four years of related work experience.
When you think of healthcare, you probably think of me. I see patients all day long and help people get healthy.
Physician (Doctor)
I work directly with your doctor. I’m the one who measured your height, weight, and blood pressure when you came in for your last checkup. I gave you your flu shot, did your vision test, and might have helped the doctor do a special procedure or exam if you needed one.
What is a Medical Assistant?
I add “jewelry” to your teeth to help make them straight.
What is an Orthodontist?
My title is Laboratory Technician, what do you think I do?
I get to look inside things like your blood or skin cells to see if they are healthy and working normally. I get to use a bunch of cool equipment to do this.
I might travel to colleges and talk to students who are about to graduate and look for a job. It’s important for us to recruit the best doctors, nurses, dentists, and other professionals that we can find.
What is a HR Recruiter?
I accurately give prescriptions to patient’s when they come to pick them up, maintain inventory, equipment, and records. I have spectacular customer service and I am good at multi-tasking.
My title is a Pharmacy Technician, what do you think I do?
I support the clinics in all administrative functions, being the point of contact for administrative matters, managing leaderships calendars, prepare agendas for meetings, take notes during the meetings and whatever else may be needed!

I’m like a Physician, but I can’t do as many things for a patient as a doctor can, but I can do a lot of the same things! And I don’t have to go to school as long! My credentials are NP or PA.
Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant
I am a Patient Communications Specialist, what do you think I do?
I work in our call center! I answer calls from patients, schedule or reschedule appointments, send messages to your doctor, making sure that the patients questions get answered.
I use a drill to make sure you can eat all your favorite foods for a long time. I went to school for 8 years to get my degree.
What is a Dentist?
My title is a Housing Navigator, what do you think I do?
When someone loses their house or their apartment when they've been sick for a really long time and haven’t been able to work, I help them. It’s my job get them healthcare and to find them a safe place to live while getting healthy.
My title is as an Outreach Medical Assistant, what do you think I do?
I call patients on the phone and talk about medical tests that might be helpful for them. By reaching out to patients to have some tests done before they actually get sick, we can help keep people healthier.
Before I work on my own as an independently-licensed Pharmacist, I will spend at least one more year working closely with another Pharmacist and learning the job from that person who already does it.

My title is Facilities Maintenance Technician, what do you think I do?
I do construction projects, renovations, and repairs to all PCHC facilities.

I help families work through problems together, and I might help you find a doctor, a counselor, or another social services program to help you overcome a challenge in your life.
I help people if they have trouble forming or pronouncing words accurately. Sometimes I work with kids when they are first learning to speak out loud, and sometimes I works with older people.
What is a Speech Language Pathologist?
They might help the dentist during procedures by handing them tools or keeping track of patient records. They also help make sure everything in the office runs smoothly, from scheduling appointments
Dental Assistant
My title is a Billing Technician, what do you think I do?
I send a bill to the insurance company so that PCHC gets paid for the work we do. That money pays the people who work here, for our tools, office buildings, and supplies.
My title is Pediatrician, what do you think I do?
They are doctors who specialize in caring for children from when they're born all the way up to their teenage years. They help keep kids healthy by doing check-ups, giving vaccinations to protect against diseases, and treating them when they're not feeling well. They also answer questions about growing up, like how to eat healthy and stay active.
Along with my Pharmacist duties, I manage everyone in the pharmacy by providing leadership to help us run as a productive and caring team.
What is a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)?
I create and maintain our financial records, help pay our business bills, and help managers make decisions about how to spend the company’s money.
What is an Accountant?
I am a registered nurse who works with patients. My patients usually have serious health conditions like high blood pressure or another illness that makes it risky for them to be at home without a nurse to help them.
What is a Care Mananger RN?
I am the manager or “boss” of the whole doctor’s office building. It is my job to make sure that our practice is a clean, safe, and happy place to work.
What is a Practice Manager?
I am a Dental Sterilization Technician, what do you think I do?
I sterilize all dental equipment and instruments, like all the things that get put in your mouth! I dispose of hazardous materials and make sure that everything is clean and safe.
My title is Prescription Refill Specialist, what do you think I do?
I help make sure your prescriptions are refilled on time so you don’t run out of important medicines. I will also send reminders to your doctor if a prescription needs to be updated.
My title is Dental Hygienist, what do you think I do?
They're experts at cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, and teaching us how to keep our smiles sparkly clean. They also check for problems like cavities and gum disease during our check-ups, take X-rays to see what's happening beneath the surface, and apply fluoride to make our teeth stronger and protect against cavities.
