An unsafe secret is something that a person doesn’t want others to know about. Usually when someone wants you to keep a secret, it is because they are doing something unsafe or bad, or something they should not be doing. It might make you feel uncomfortable because it could hurt you or someone else.
Emily wants her father to play a game. Emily’s father is busy and yells at her. He says she bothers him all the time and he tells her he doesn’t want to see or hear her anymore. He tells her he wishes she would go away and never come back. He says things like this to her a lot.

Tell the person he can't find his parents. Carlos should stay where he is in case his mom or dad comes back to that location. The stranger can go get someone who works at the amusement park to help him.
If I get lost or separated from my parent, what should I do?
Stay where I am if it is a safe spot.
Look for someone in a uniform to ask for help.
You might need to ask for help from a stranger, but don't leave with that person.
What do you do if the safe adult you tell does not believe you?
Keep telling until someone believes you.
How would you feel if someone asked you to keep a bad secret?
I would feel unsure, unsafe, confused, sad, worried or scared.
Frank's mom has a friend named Lewis over, and Lewis asks Frank to show him his private body parts while they are playing a video game. He tells Frank it will be their little secret.
