No. Remember, a stranger is someone you don't know. There can be "good" and "bad" strangers. A police officer is still a stranger if we don't know him/her. Unfortunately, we don't know if a person is good or bad just by looking at him/her.

Go back inside the house, get an adult, don't talk to the stranger.
Should you accept candy and food from strangers? Why
Yes and No: you can accept food and drinks from strangers if they are employees of an establishment, if the food is sealed and unopened. No if it is a person who randomly comes up to you offering food and drinks.
Should you get into a swimming pool without someone else around? Why?
No. Even if you are a great swimmer, accidents happen. You always need one other person with you to be safe.
Why is stealing wrong?
Stealing makes people upset and makes people not trust me.

Leave the store, follow directions.
