While listening to a presentation, someone next to you keeps sighing and checking their phone...What might they be thinking?
Bored, stressed, impatient, needing to leave soon, etc.
A parent is arguing with their kid going to bed when they don't want to...What might the parent be thinking/feeling? What might the kid be thinking/feeling?
The parent might frustrated and just want their kid to get enough sleep to feel good in the morning, while the kid might be upset that they can't stay up later and have fun.

They might be using sarcasm. They may feel annoyed or frustrated.
Your class is very quiet and focused during a test. You are the first person to finish, what should you do?
Stay quiet so the rest of the class can focus and finish.
There is someone that is speeding and cuts off another person driving...What might the person speeding/cutting off be thinking/feeling? What might the person who got cut off be thinking/feeling?
The person speeding/cutting might be running late for something, have an emergency, etc and is trying to get there as fast as possible. While the person that was cut off may be annoyed that they were cut off from someone not driving safely.
