Attacking a person not based on their argument but another issue

Sharing a person's experience that may lend credibility to a topic in question
What is Logical Fallacy
An error in the reasoning used generally to divert away from an issue or misinterpret a speaker
What is circular reasoning
Restating an argument rather than trying to prove it
What is the point of a persuasive essay
The point of a persuasive essay is so you can persuade someone to either do something or read something.
