Does the system apply the homeowners discount to the Progressive Auto Policy and or special lines policy?

No. The system will not apply the Homeowner Discount to the Progressive Personal Auto and/or Special Lines policy after property policy is sold. Advise customer to call Progressive once the move is complete to update policy(s) with address change AND homeowner status.

Is Business done at property acceptable?  What about a day care in Michigan?

  • Incidental business exposure is acceptable.
  • Customer traffic may not exceed 2 visitors per week. Any business exceeding this level of visitors does not qualify for the program.
    Customers with a small business may qualify if the Home Business Endorsement is purchased, except in the following states.
  • A daycare is an unacceptable risk (Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, & Washington: Refer to In-home Daycare procedures.).

When doing a coverage presentation, in Progressive home, there are 7 items that are required to be disclosed and 1 item specific to Texas. What are these items? 

*Coverages A - F AND the deductibles.
*Key endorsements whether included with package, selected separately or not selected.

  • Increased Replacement Cost on Dwelling (ERC)
  • Personal Property Replacement (PPRC)
  • Water Backup (WB)
  • Flood is not part of the policy.
  • Animal Liability Endorsement has been declined when applicable.
  • Matching of Undamaged Siding and/or Roofing Coverage has been declined when applicable.
  • Texas: Hidden Seepage or Leakage Coverage Extension Must be offered on all quotes.

What are the 7 steps to monitor a Fulfillment task?

1. Monitor your Tasks daily & throughout the day. MPX360 notification bell will show for new tasks only. It does not replace monitoring your tasks.

2.Select down arrow next to search tab in MPX360.

3.Select Tasks option.

4. Select down arrow to open drop-down menu.

5. Select "My assigned open Tasks."

6. Pin the view "All My Tasks - Open and Closed."

7. Access your Tasks by clicking name of Task in subject column (e.g., "Hard Referral - Wind Deductible").  Address the Hard Referral issue.  The customer must be advised if the quote agreed to cannot be issued.

  • Tips: A hard referral is a quote stop. The Fulfilment case will be marked as closed. Agent must own completion of this task.  Most hard referrals require a call out to the customer.

How do you list a named Insured when there is a different name on the mortgage than their current legal name?

Always list the correct, current legal name on the insurance policy. For example, if the mortgage lists a maiden name, but the insured has a new married name, list the legal current married name.

What do you do if customer wants detached structures covered for more than the limit allowed?

  • The covered structure(s) must be specified.
  • The maximum available endorsement is 100% of coverage B amount.
  • Combining the endorsement with coverage B, the total maximum coverage available on all "other structures" is 200% of the coverage B amount.

What do you do if Customer has a trust?

All Trusts must be approved by Progressive Home Underwriting.

  • Advise the customer send the Trust documentation to PropertySales@email.progressive.com. Important: Have customer include their name and quote number (if applicable) in the subject line.
  • Once the Trust documents are received from the customer, send to underwriting.
    • The underwriting email is state specific. State abbreviation for the property state, then underwriting@email.progressive.com Example: TXunderwriting@email.progressive.com .
    • Include the customer’s name AND quote number in the subject line of the email.
    • Follow NetAgent / Moxie Email Process when sending an outbound email to customer or underwriting.

Are two Homes on one property acceptable?

No, two homes on the same deed or two separate dwelling structures on the same legal property are ineligible.  Applies regardless of if the homes have two separate addresses.
