The history
Phi Lambda Phi Sorority was founded in April 1959 at Oswego. In May 1959, they were recognized by the inter-sorority council. Their dreams came true in October 1971 when Phi Lamb officially purchased their own house and started remodeling. Two charter members, Miss Kathy Calcandy and Miss Beverly Hunter, wrote the sorority songs and designed the pin, the crest, and the banner. With their motto they shall exist forever: “Of one substance we shall remain.”
