The supreme executive and administrative body of the National Fraternity when Grand Chapter is not in session.
National Council
The original Coat of Arms consisted of a shield bearing theses.

This Founding Father has an award for chapters that capture the true spirit of Fellowship and Brotherhood through chapter events named after him.
Dr. Claude A. Phillips
The National Constituion was amended to allow women to join following Title IX during this year in the 1970's.

Learning about the change or the need of the campus and/or community reflects this leg of the tripod.
Scholarship
Full-time professionals to assist in the day-to-day affairs of the Fraternity and oversees the Fraternity’s programs.
National Staff
In 1930, the Coat of Arms was redesigned to present a more professional image. Among other changes, one was replacing the previously"clasped hands" with these.

Dr. Claude A.Phillips achieved this Title at the Warrensburg Institution during his 18 years of service.

Certification of membership into Phi Sigma Pi. Each Member receives a certificate indicating the Member’s name, Chapter, institution and date of Induction. The certificate bears the Grand Seal and has the signatures of the National President and National Secretary.
