Why do we limit our Menu the week of Thanksgiving?
i.e. 6 flavors instead of 8, no slices/half pies, etc.
We want to make sure to serve all of our
guests to the best of our ability!
We see a significant increase in orders surrounding this holiday, and to ensure Pie Bar's high quality of production, we have to reduce the amount of pie flavors (and varieties like slices, etc) we make and offer.
Also, certain pies do not travel or "carry-over" well, and to ensure you are serving your guests the best pie possible, we have gone ahead and pulled those flavors from our holiday menu.
What are the three time-frames for Thanksgiving Week Pie Pick Ups?
11am - 1pm
1pm - 3pm
3pm - 5pm
What if someone arrives a day early to pick up their pie?
Notify Cody, Lauren, and Vivian immediately. If we have any extra, we will try and fill their order.
If we do not have any extra, we will notify them and request they come back on their chosen pick-up date and time.

Why do we do the Pie Drive Thru?
We launched the Pie Drive Thru during Thanksgiving 2020 to ensure guests and team members were social distancing.
The system worked so well, we have implemented it as our go-to Thanksgiving Pie Pick up!
The drive thru allows our entire team to work together on the large volume of orders under one roof.
It also means shorter wait times for guests as well as convenience for guests since they never have to exit their vehicle!
What if someone wants to order using a discount code, gift card, or place a bulk order?
They would contact Lauren or Vivian at Hello@OrderPieBar.com.
P.S. - To go the extra mile for bulk orders, it helps if you collect their info while you're on the phone with them, so we can email them faster with bulk information (ex: name, email/phone, quantity/date).
What if someone doesn't show up or sends an email saying they can't come by for their pie at the Pie Drive Thru?
Notify Cody, Lauren, and Vivian immediately.
If we are are able to freeze the pie for them, we will. If we are able to hold onto it for pick up the following day, we will.
If we are unable to make those items work, we will donate their pie.

Can someone order Slices, Half & Half Pies, or a Sampler Pie during CHRISTMAS Week?
We intend to have Slices, Half & Halfs, and Sampler Pies during Christmas Week; however, pending order volume, we may have to limit or remove those items.
All Slices, Half & Halfs, and Sampler Pies during Christmas Week must be purchased once in store. We are unable to pre-sell these items due to availability and high order volume.
What if someone doesn't pick up their pie at all?
It will be donated.

How does a customer go about ordering a pie for the Holiday Season?
Online, Over the Phone, In Shop...but ULTIMATELY all orders MUST come in through www.OrderPieBar.com.
If a guest asks to Pre-Order a Thanksgiving Pie while in the shop or over a call, we need to take the order with them via our website in the moment, as opposed to defer them to the website at a later time. This ensures the pre-order is received and removes additional factors or room for error (they forget, or can't find the website, etc etc).
What if someone calls or emails and wants to change their pick up date, flavor or time AFTER orders have closed?
#1: Thank them for calling and thank them for their order.
#2: Let them know that unfortunately, since orders have closed, we are unable to make any modifications to any orders.
If they push back:
#3: Let them know you would be happy to take their information (first and last name, phone number, order #) and have our General Manager, Vivian, give them a call to discuss it further if needed.
#4: Thank them for their time.
What if someone wants a pie but forgot to pre-order for Thanksgiving?
We recommend they watch Pie Bar's stories. If we have extra pies we will story them and make them available for pick up at Pie Drive Thru (most likely on Thursday AM).

We keep Pie Care instructions on the footer of our website at OrderPieBar.com.
(Additionally: our team at the shops should be able to access this information if a guest calls to ask BEFORE Thanksgiving Week, and we'll also include a QR Code on the box upon pick-up with Pie Care Instructions).
