Who is the plan for?
The plan is for the teacher. It's a document. The teacher needs to be able to explain it and support his/her decisions.
Where do I find the language contents?
Language contents are in the National Curriculum.
How do I identify the language functions in the National Curriculum?
They are written in English. They all follow the ...ing form and belong to the "communication"section.
Are objectives short or long term goals?
Objectives are long term goals. (They can be reached at the end of a T.U., Project, year)
Can you put in order the following purpose?

Should the weekly plan be in Spanish, English or both?
Weekly plans are written in English. They are a guide for the teacher.
Can I translate them into English?
No, they should be copied from the NC without being modified.
Can I adapt the language functions?
No, language functions should be copied and taught as they are stated in the N.C.
Who are the objectives addressed to?
They tell what the students are expected to do at the end of the learning period.

Who can ask me to see my plan?
Any authority can: school principals, supervisors, coordinators, .... .They might also ask you to help them understand it.
How are they classified? Why?
They are subdivided into: Oralidad, Lectura and Escritura, those categories represent the 4 language skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Can I use language functions from previous years?
Yes, of course. In the N.C. the functions follow a logical order, they appear in a specific grade level, but they must be revisited and recycled from then on throughout the whole school cycle.

No, all the contents in the N.C. for each grade level are mandatory.

This purpose is not about teaching the language, it does not imply language in use either.
Can I modify my weekly plan?
Yes, plans are always flexible. But remember we must plan (in advance), not register.
Why are the language contents written in Spanish?
Because they are the same for all foreing languages.
