When a fruit is like this it can be harvested, and is ready to be eaten.

I hold the plant in the soil. I also take in water and minerals. I store food for the plant.
What are the roots?
I am the 3 BASIC things a plant needs to make their own food.
What is sunlight, carbon dioxide and water?
3 things that can move pollen between flowers.
What are birds, bees, wind and water?
Fruits protect me. I live inside a fruit. There can be one of me or many, many of me.
What is a seed?
I take in CO2(Carbon Dioxide) and use sunlight to make food.
What are leaves?
When plants make food, they give off this gas. We need to breathe this in order to live.
What is oxygen?
The role of the petals in plant reproduction.
What attracts birds and insects to flowers?
I am an orange fruit with seeds. I am round and shiny on the outside and juicy on the inside. British people make preserve with me.
What is an orange?
I hold up the plant. I allow water and food to travel through the plant.

Pollen moves from the stamen to the pistil.

I am a small round fruit. I am brown on the outside and green on the inside. I have many tiny, black seeds.

This shows how a living thing grows, lives, makes more of its kind & dies. It begins with a seed.

They call me vegetable, but I am a delicious, plump and juicy fruit.
