How is the environment affected by plastic?
First, plastic are made of a lot of stuff that isn’t really good to the earth. Second of all, the plastic waste takes from 20 to 500 years to break down! Most of us think the plastic waste gets recycled but the truth is half of the world’s plastic still go to the landfill (landfill is a land filled of waste). And this is not good to earth. Some of the plastic waste ends up in ocean, a lot of animals died because of plastic.

Trick question!!! The making of plastic is both a chemical change and only one part of it is a physical change. The one part of it that is physical change which is your able to recycle it by sticking the plastic back into the furnace which will change it back to liquid plastic.It is not a full physical change because you cannot change it back to the fossil oils that it was before.It is a full chemical change because the change of temperature and solid. Recycle old plastic to turn it into something new, instead of throwing it away. You can also buy products in bulk to avoid extra packaging, and support brands that use eco-friendly materials. Swap plastic items for reusable ones, like stainless steel straws, and steel cutlery. If you can, compost food waste instead of using plastic bags.

How is plastic made?
First they dig a hole in the ground to get the fossil oils needed to make plastic
Then they use a machine called PUMP JACK to extract the oils from the ground
Then the oils go through the pipeline to get processed into polymer pellets
After they make polymer pellets they put it in a furnace that goes up to for heating
Then the liquid plastic which is made after heating it gets put into a mold of either a plastic water bottle or maybe a straw
After dried they sell it out to the public
