David was persistent on going home when transferred to Pleasantville but when he pursues a relationship with Margaret, he refuses to speak to the man on the TV.
What is irony.
Jonas in The Giver and David in Pleasantville both partake in this action of going against authority or rules.
What is rebelling.
Similarly to Fahrenheit 451, the society in Pleasantville are not used to this item and are not aware of the information it could hold.
What is a book?
When people start appearing in colors, the mayor sets rules for them. In the court room the colored people and the non-colored people are on different levels.
What is segregation?
