• The external face of ΑΩ
• Coordinates chapter affairs
• Leads weekly meetings
• Responsible for general supervision
Vice President
• Internal face of ΑΩ
• Provides post-initiation training to pledges
• Ensures executive members fulfill their duties and responsibilities
• Manages attendance at events and meetings
• Creates clothing orders
Pledge Educator
• Develops program to teach the pledges about the history, traditions etc. of ΑΩ
• Relays information and dates to the pledges
• Responsible for organizing two workshops
Rush Chair
• Plans, organizes and directs the rush period
Treasurer
• Collects all fees
• Manages the chapter’s budget
• Reports regularly on the chapter’s financial condition
Secretary
• Records the meetings minutes
• Maintains membership directory
• Maintains records of all sisters and alumni
• Ensures every sister gets a birthday gift and card
Social Chair
• Plans, organizes and directs all social events
• Runs a social committee to assist with decorations, set up, clean up, and planning of events with other Greek groups.
Charity Commissioner
• Plans, organizes and directs all charitable endeavours
• Is our contact with Anselma house
• Promotes other Greek group’s charity events
Ritual Chair
• Plans, organizes and directs pinning, initiation and inauguration
• Plans and executes weekly rituals
Alumni Advisor
• Link between the sorority and the AOAA
• Organizes the executive retreat
Publications Chair
• Creates and distributes the Sunflower newsletter to the sisterhood and AOAA
• Promotes ΑΩ to the greater Laurier community
• Responsible for AΩ’s social media for advertisement and PR
