Best Practices
What are the basic selling points of plum plus?
Receive 4500 points for signing up ($10 value), receive 10% off almost everything, the 10% stacks on top of sale items and promotions, the 10% works online as well and allows for free shipping with no minimum spend, receive 2500 points and a 20% coupon during birthday month
What's the best way to have our customers spend more with us?
Ask them if they need help while they're shopping to find what they're looking for, ask open-ended questions to find out more about their shopping intentions, offer suggestions based on what they're buying.
What is the minimum spend a customer needs to reach to qualify for the PWP blankets for the discounted price?
What's the best way to ensure we're picking the right items for orders?
Scan the barcode on the product as you're picking, (some items look very similar but have different SKUs).
What's the benefit of making an assumption of a customer's spending habits based on your interaction with them?
You can pitch plum plus to the customer by mentioning the features that would be beneficial to them. (ex. a customer with kids would like to know about the money they'll save during Christmas)
How can we ensure that a customer is finding everything they need?
Does a customer only get to buy one blanket after they qualify for the discounted price?
Nope! They can buy as many as they'd like and mix and match colours.
How many orders should we pick at once?
Pick orders in batches to save time, as long as you confirm the items in the order with the right customer and label you can pick as many as you can carry.
What's the best way to show the customer they won't be spending much to upgrade to plum plus?
Calculate the savings for them. (ex. the card is $39 to start, but the customer receives 4500 points worth $10, 2500 points worth $5, and will save 10% off their current purchase. If their purchase was $100, that's $10 in savings from the 10% discount, which would bring the $39 down to just $14.)
When might a customer be buying a gift card?
They're shopping for someone they don't know too well, they don't have time to find a specific gift, they want to ship their gift but want to save money on shipping costs, they're not sure when they'll see the giftee and don't want to hold onto something big.
Can a customer buy a blanket if they don't make the minimum spend but have a receipt from a time that they did?
They sure can! You'll just have to modify the price manually.
How often should we complete return to shelf orders?
Check return to shelf at the start of every day, if an order expired three days ago you can return it.
